Traveling Exhibition
"Avatar: Discover Pandora"
When we were approached with the idea of a traveling figurine exhibition based on James Cameron's Avatar, the whole DinoMachine team got excited. This movie is on many people's list of favorites, so we 100% wanted to convey that very fantastic atmosphere in the images and the exhibition itself.
The most recognizable living creatures of the planet Pandora were selected for the project. Many representatives of the animal world resemble the prehistoric inhabitants of the Earth, but each has its own unique distinctive features.
Engineers designed the figures, and sculptors added relief. The artists studied each creature in detail and replicated the coloring of the figures as in the movie Avatar.
We made 6 figures. Static - Jake Sully (height 2.5 m), animatronics: Titanoterium (length 4 m), Snake-Wolf (length 2.4 m), Banshee (length 5 m), Lutocon (length 2.4 m), Tanator (length 2.3 m).
Most of the figures animatronics, they move, make sounds, which gives a sense of immersion in the atmosphere of the film.
All visitors to the exhibition, both adults and children, were delighted with their visit.
